The trip was well organized with just enough flexibility to take
advantage of unexpected activities and the people were "anxious"
to be photographed. Having the graduates from the photo school
and our guides/drivers made our trip go very smoothly--we made
great friends with them. We were very lucky to have the guides
we had as they were able to take us to see people, places and things
that the average tourist does not see. I, of course, enjoyed
the constant exposure to textiles in the lodging, along the road,
with friends, everywhere. As their king says, "Gross
National Happiness" prevails in all the people we met
as well as within our group. The perfect weather helped
a lot, too. I can't wait to go back! "
